What’s Up at Walla: Appointment-Related Updates and More

We are constantly working behind the scenes to save you time and give you the most intuitive studio management experience in the industry. So in our most recent product release, we updated and added a few features and functionality that can make your studio operations even more streamlined: 

  • Easily edit appointment totals when you are settling up a client 
  • Appointment room eligibility—we will automatically check when an appointment has and needs one room; for example, if a room is available at your studio, we will assign the appointment to that room!  
  • Cleaner, updated client-facing booking confirmation via the widget 
  • Email booking reminders for staff and clients 
  • Clients can book an appointment and buy a plan at the same time during checkout 
  • Ability to separate and choose whether or not clients using “comps”/non-paying plans and guest passes apply to the headcount (influencing decisions to pay instructors a bonus rate based on headcount)
A few other features
  • “Other” is now a primary category when creating classes, enrollments, and appointment
  • Ability to select “Just Once” when creating a promotion code timeframe to ensure your promotion is only eligible for one-time use
